AIA Canada’s Young Executive Society is hosting a workshop on November 19, 2014 at the Horseshoe Resort in Barrie, Ont.

The theme of this year’s workshop, “Everyday Leadership” will be discussed by speaker, Drew Dudley and industry mentor, Ken Coulter.

Drew Dudley is the founder and chief catalyst, Nuance Leadership Inc. Dudley is also featured in one of the most viewed TED videos of all time.

Through Drew Dudley’s presentation and workshop, he will show that by making leadership into something bigger than ourselves, we fail to acknowledge everyday leadership that affects us in innumerable ways. We need to redefine leadership as being a series of "lollipop moments" – those moments when something you’ve done has made someone else’s life fundamentally better.

As the founder and chief catalyst of Nuance Leadership Inc, he has worked with dozens of corporations, charities, non-profits, universities, colleges, and other organizations around the world to empower people to increase their leadership capacity. Dudley, who has spoken at TEDxToronto and other high profile venues, embraces the idea that leadership can’t really be taught, only learned – an idea that has resonated with thousands of people over the years.

As a bonus, attendees will also hear from 2014 YES Industry Mentor Ken Coulter.

Ken Coulter is the president of Specialty Sales and Marketing, one of Canada’s leading sales and marketing specialists, an ISO certified company specializing in the automotive and heavy duty channels. Throughout his career, Ken has maintained active involvement in the industry, and in 2007, was the recipient of the AIA Distinguished Service Award in recognition of his distinguished service and outstanding leadership given to the growth and development of Canada’s automotive aftermarket industry.

Don’t miss this opportunity to hear from Ken, who will share his wealth of experience and insights on becoming a successful leader in the aftermarket industry and in your community.

This year’s workshop registration fee is $329 per person. To register online, click here.
