High Fives for Kids is doubling down for donations this spring. The AIA Canada charity is holding a poker rally March 23 to raise funds that will be used to support a variety of community groups in activities such as buying a wheelchair, sending kids with diabetes or a disability to a summer camp, rebuilding a community center, or helping a local hospital for children.
The rally will begin in Mississauga and participants will have FIVE checkpoints to visit/photograph before ending at the Hilton Hotel and Suites Niagara Falls/Fallsview. Upon arrival at the hotel, participants will draw cards for the best poker hand for a chance to share in some fantastic prizes. There will also be many door prizes to be given away via a random draw of the entry cards.
The entry fee for the event is $600 per person and includes registration for two people, reception at the Hilton Hotel, one night’s hotel accommodation and a tax receipt for $250.
