AIA Canadas AGM set for April 30 in Toronto

The Annual General Meeting of the Automotive Industries Association (AIA) of Canada, being held on April 30, will now begin at 11:30 am (original time was 12:30 pm) at the Hilton Toronto Airport Hotel & Suites in Toronto, ON.

AIA Canada encourages all members to attend in person; however, this year’s AGM will be webcast for those members who are not able to travel to Toronto. The live coverage of the AGM will also be rebroadcasted on AIA’s website and will be available for several weeks following the meeting.

This new interactive format will enable AIA Canada members to attend and participate from their computer anywhere in Canada. (Members who are attending the AGM via the live webcast will need to assign their vote by completing the Proxy Form online)

To ensure that all eligible members have an opportunity to participate in the approval process, all documents to be presented at the meeting have been posted on the AIA website. If you are not able to attend the meeting, we ask that you please complete the Proxy Form, assigning your vote to a specific individual. You may complete the form online or download the form and return it to AIA before the end of the day on April 25th.

In addition to the AGM, all members are invited to stay for the AIA Volunteer Recognition Luncheon, to be held immediately after the AGM, and to honour this year’s recipients of the AIA Distinguished Service Award and the YES Young Leader of the Year Award.
