It was a busy week for Affinia District Manager Charles Hutton, as he was on hand to present a pair of awards to local winners.

Firstly, Nick Lagoudis, owner / operator of Nick’s Auto-tech, Scarborough , Ont. was the proud recipient of a $1,000. Home Entertainment Centre System after his game card was selected as one of 92 weekly prize winners during the July 7th Uni-Select Pit Pass to Play draw.

To date over 750 prizes, varying in value from $10 – $1,500 have been awarded in the entertaining contest which spans 24 weeks and culminates with Grand Prize Draws for one of 24 trips to the 2007 GFS 400 NASCAR race in Michigan.

The contest continues until November 3, 2006.

Following that, Hutton was happy to formalize that Ramish Vadera, owner / operator of Ramco Motors, Scarborough, Ont. was the lucky recipient of the “Royal Flush Trip to Vegas” scratch card.

The win qualifies Ramish and his counter person, Paul Sudoma from Warden Automotive, Scarborough, Ont. to participate in the Spicer Showdown poker tournament playoffs.

The prize includes round trip airfare and hotel accommodations to Las Vegas Nevada, to play off against 14 other registered winners, for the opportunity to win a seat at the 2007 World Series of Poker, $10,000 grand prize tournament.

The contest, which runs until August 31, 2006 also includes a myriad of “instant win” prizes and every ballot entered qualifies for a second trip for two to the Spicer Showdown playoffs.

The final draw takes place September 10, 2006.
