ACDelco’s Technician of the Millennium II Canadian regional finals are complete, and the stage is set for the Canadian contingent to take on their American counterparts in October. The competition is open to both Canadian and American members of the ACDelco Total Service Support program which provides technical training and marketing support for independent service centres. The competition tests technicians’ diagnostic and repair capabilities through three phases of tests, before awarding the title of Technician of the Millennium II to the winner. The Western Region winner, Paul Martin, along with Herman Chabot, the Eastern Region winner and Jeffrey Taylor, the winner from the Central Region, will go on to compete in Charlotte North Carolina on October 5th against five finalists from the US to determine this year’s Technician of the Millennium. The first place contestant will win a brand-new Chevrolet Avalanche truck.
