AAEC develops new apps for tablets and smart phones

Software allows AAEC's Business Evaluation Support and Training clients to track their businesses on mobile devices.

The Automotive Aftermarket E-Learning Centre (AAEC) has developed software that its “Business Evaluation Support and Training” clients can use to track their businesses on mobile devices.

A vehicle inspection app, which helps technicians organize and track the inspections they do, features embedded QR technology. And an employee time tracker allows managers to record 100% of their employees’ activities for payroll and billing purposes.

According to AAEC executive vice president Rui Martins, these web-based multi-platform apps were designed to offer in-house accountability, contribute to customer satisfaction, improve shop productivity, simplify payroll, and increase net income for the shop.

They feature dashboard-style tools that can be used by both staff and management.
