SPX Robinair releases CoolTech refrigerant identifier
SPX Robinair has released the CoolTech ID Plus, a refrigerant identifier that will help shop technicians identify refrigerant types and purge damaging air. The CoolTech ID Plus also measures non-condensable gases (air) in the refrigerant and purges them directly from the tank or system. The unit displays the actual percentage of R-12, R-134a, R-22 and air in the system or tank, gives an option of purging air if significant concentration is found, a hydrocarbon alarm if flammable substances are found and an on-board printer port to print out a hard copy of test results.
