Bob Rose, former Fenco national sales manager, dies at 75


Robert (Bob) Rose, a well-known figure in the Canadian automotive aftermarket, passed away on Oct. 29  at the age of 75 surrounded by his family.

The former national sales manager for Toronto-based Fenco Automotive, spent 45 years with the company.

He served in many roles during his tenure, starting in the shipping department and rising through the ranks, including several years as customer service manager, and spending the last 25 years of his career as national sales manager before retiring in 2009.

“Bob was a loyal and long-time employee of Fenco and a dedicated and respected aftermarket industry veteran” said Stan Urovitz retired vice president of sales at Fenco. “We mourn the loss of a good friend, who was respected by co-workers and customers alike”.

He was an adoring husband, predeceased by loving wife Virginia (2005), and a father of five, grandfather of 15, great grandfather of 10, and great, great grandfather of three – all of whom loved him and will miss him.

Those wishing to pay their respects will have the opportunity on Saturday, Nov. 9 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 3:00 p.m. at the Oshawa Funeral Home, 847 King Street East in Oshawa, Ont (905) 721-1234.
