ASE Automobile Technician Certification Testing Schedule Announced

The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) will be offering its full complement of certification tests for auto technicians this Spring over the course of two evenings on May 7 and May 9 at 7:00 p.m. The tests will be offered at over 700 locations throughout the United States and Canada. The registration deadline is March 29, 2002.
The eight tests in the automobile series are A1 Engine Repair; A2- Automatic Transmission/Transaxle; A3 Manual Drive Train and Axles; A4 Suspension and Steering; A5- Brakes; A6 Electrical/Electronic Systems; A7 Heating and Air Conditioning; and A8 Engine Performance. (There is also an advanced-level test in automobile engine performance.)
