Appointments at PPG Canada

Brian Roberson has been named director, refinish for PPG Canada, Inc., it was announced by Dean Worley, director of sales, collision, automotive refinish, North America.
Roberson will assume the position June 1, 2007, replacing Lee Smith, who has held the position for the past five years.
Smith will be moving to PPG refinish headquarters in Strongsville, Ohio, USA, as director of strategic growth for PPG North America.
Roberson joined the PPG Refinish business unit in February 2005 as a regional manager in the western region of The United States.
His extraordinary success in this position made him the leading candidate for Director. His prior work experience with PPG was in the aerospace coatings and sealants division.
In this business, he held several sales and market development positions of increasing responsibility, including senior account manager for Boeing.
Roberson has a BS in Chemical Engineering from Oklahoma State University and an MBA from Oklahoma City University.
He and his wife, Maria, will be relocating to Mississauga in the near future.
