Alliance vice president of marketing JC Washbish speaking at Aftermarket Jackpot Convention in Las Vegas in 2018.
The Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance announced that it promoted John Carlson “JC” Washbish to be its Vice President of Marketing as of Jan. 1.
Previously the group’s director of marketing, he will continue to lead marketing efforts for the Alliance – such as promotions, branding, communications and events.
Various members of the Alliance Board of Directors were involved with the decision and praised the efforts of Washbish.
“Our entire Alliance headquarters sales and marketing effort is co-ordinated to improve the competitiveness of all Alliance shareholders,” said Corey Bartlett, chairman of the Alliance’s board and president and chief executive officer of Automotive Parts Headquarters. “JC and his marketing team continue to develop methods to help us grow our market share. We are delighted to have him on our staff.
“The marketing effort at Alliance Headquarters is better than ever before,” said Brian Weiss, Alliance board treasurer and president and CEO of Warren Distributing.
Board secretary and co-president of Hahn Automotive Eli N. Futerman noted the successful Aftermarket Jackpot Convention during AAPEX and SEMA in the fall where 3,500 technicians came out.
“JC oversaw every detail of our Jackpot Convention,” he said.
He joined the Alliance in June 2016. He was previously an account executive with NGK Spark Plugs.
