Stet Schanze to finish retiring chairman’s term at ALI

Stet Schanze will serve as chairman of the Automotive Lift Institute (ALI) board of directors, taking over for Jerry Lentz who retired earlier this month.

“On behalf of our board and membership, I’d like to thank Jerry for his 26 years of service to ALI,” says ALI president Bob O’Gorman. “His dedication and passion have been instrumental in helping us protect lift operators and promote the safe design and use of vehicle lifts. Jerry has been a key supporter of ALI’s Lift Inspector Certification program coming to fruition. We wish him well in his retirement.”

Schanze, of Gray Manufacturing Company, was the immediate past chairman of the board and will serve as new chairman until the fall elections at the ALI annual meeting.
