Airtex-ASC hires new quality manager

Chad Hawkins has joined Airtex-ASC as quality manager, fuel/continuous improvement.

Rick Hindi, global quality director for Airtex-ASC, said Hawkins is a great addition to the team.

“Chad has over 20 years of quality systems management experience,” said Hindi. “As a certified lean leader, he brings a wealth of knowledge in the area of lean manufacturing to Airtex-ASC.”

In his new role, Hawkins will be responsible for the development, implementation and management of quality control systems designed to ensure continuous production of advanced composite materials and applications.

Hawkins has held a wide array of manufacturing and engineering positions throughout his career including stints with HEXPOL Compounding, Dana, Goodyear, and Honeywell. A graduate of Murray State University, Hawkins has a Bachelor of Science degree in manufacturing engineering technology.

Airtex-ASC is a division of UCI International and a privately held company that manufactures premium quality fuel and water pumps for original equipment and aftermarket customers worldwide. Airtex-ASC is headquartered in North Canton, Ohio, with offices in Michigan, Illinois, Mexico, Spain and China.
