AIAs Young Executive Society (YES) Awards Zara Wishloff as Young Executive of the Year

AIA’s Young Executive Society (YES) is pleased to announce that Zara Wishloff is the winner of this year’s Young Executive of the Year Award. A dedicated Sales and Marketing Manager at Warehouse Services Inc., Wishloff has been an avid supporter of the aftermarket industry as well as the Automotive Industries Association of Canada. The committee reviewed a number of applications but Zara’s ongoing volunteer work, most apparent in his tireless promotion of career opportunities to students, made his nomination truly stand out. In keeping with Wishloff’s passion for promoting the industry, his award will be presented on November 12 during the Student Aftermarket Day event being held at the Kempenfelt Conference Centre in Barrie, Ontario.

AIA’s Young Executive Society was created in 2007 by the YES Council to provide member organizations with the opportunity to recognize remarkable employees who have impacted their company, community and industry. This is the second year that YES has awarded an outstanding employee for their dedication to the industry, their leadership, and innovation.

According to Linda Donnini, Chair of the YES Council, this year the nominations were very strong, making the task of selecting a winner particularly challenging. Yet, the decision to name Wishloff as this year’s winner was unanimous.

Ms. Donnini also congratulated the various companies that took the time to submit a nominee, recognizing the contributions of an employee or coworker.

“Zara stands out in his commitment to charity, his community and the industry. An ongoing participant in the local division, Zara has worked on conferences, raised money for scholarships and charity and promoted both AIA as well as the industry on many occasions” Donnini explains.

Alongside his outstanding work at Warehouse Services Inc., Wishloff has also earned a myriad of awards for his work as a volunteer. Some of his recent accomplishments include developing a unique customer program called ALP (Appreciated Loyalty Program). This installer business program has grown to 70 members and is getting recognized in the industry for the tools it provides. He also founded the “WSI Annual Fall Classic” a first class golf tournament which has a waiting list each year.
