AIA Northern Alberta Raises Cash for Kids

AIA Northern Alberta Division held their annual Fall Christmas Gala A night of Laughs Nov 10,2007 at the new River Cree resort just outside of Edmonton.
The executive changed the format to be a more casual, fun evening hiring 2 professional stand up comics.
The change worked as attendance was up 40%.
120 attendees had a great time representing the automotive aftermarket industry.
There are no companies or competitors in the room tonight. We are all here as an industry raising money for worthy causes stated Zara Wishloff, Division chair in his last event in this role.
$3500 was raised between silent auction items and a raffle draw.
All money raised will be donated to 3 local Childrens charities: Stollery Childrens Hospital Foundation, Childrens Wish Foundation, and Sport Central.
