AAPEX Seeks “Aftermarket Idol”

The organizing committee for the 2006 Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo have put out the call for the musically inclined to perform Oct. 31 Nov 2 in Las Vegas.
According to their press release, the AAPEX committee is looking for six acts to fill time slots on each night of the expo.
Show manager Bill Glasgow, Sr. said: “We hope to increase the excitement in the main lobby during AAPEX while exposing some of the most talented individuals in the aftermarket.”
Interested musicians should send a CD or tape of at least one song in addition to a description of what they do in the aftermarket to AAPEX Show, c/o WT Glasgow, Orland Park, IL. Deadline for entries is Friday, June 30.
