New Rotor/Drum Brake Lathe System Handles High Repair Volume

High volume repair shops that recondition off-vehicle rotors and drums can deliver high quality finishes while saving considerable time and effort using the EEBR312A Combination Rotor/Drum Brake Lathe from Snap-on Tools.

This versatile shop-ready unit supports drums or rotors up to 100 lbs using the standard 1″ (25.4mm) arbor, drums or rotors up to 200 lbs using the optional heavy-duty 1.875″ (47.63mm) arbor, and truck drums with wheels attached weighing up to 600 lbs using an optional outboard support. Wide 9.875″ (250.83mm) spindle travel accepts brake assemblies with increased drum depth and rotor width.

Speed and accuracy are ensured by the EEBR312A Lathe’s multi-feed rate and spindle speed with one-cut capability, quick-change tool holders, variable feed motor, and easy-to-position boring bar. Two models are available, EEBR312ABP for passenger cars through 1/2 ton light trucks and EEBR312ADP for passenger cars through 1 ton light trucks. Both packages include the lathe, bench with tool board, sign, chip funnel, and bucket and adapters for hubbed and hubless rotors and drums.
