APD will host management training sessions for auto service providers this fall.
A SMART (Service Management and Results Training) class will be offered Sept. 10-12, featuring Murray Voth of RPM Training. It will be held at the APD branch in Edmonton.
Day one covers “capturing” what we sell. Day two covers managing what we sell. Day three covers managing the vehicle.
Murray Voth promises that shop owners who implement at least one of the key take-aways will gain 0.5 of a billed hour per technician per day.
In November, Bob Greenwood of Automotive Aftermarket E-Learning Centre (AAEC) will lead a one-day business management training recommended for shop owners, managers, and accountants.
The intensive course – allowing key managers to understand how to measure a repair shop’s business health on a day-to-day basis – will be held Nov. 15, at the Holiday Inn Saskatoon.
Details can be found at the APD website.
