AASA adds executive VP

The MEMA’s Paul McCarthy, who is currently the group’s senior vice president, has taken on the role of executive vice president at the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association.

McCarthy has been with the MEMA since April 2011, said Bill Long, the AASA’s president and chief executive officer, and has held strategic leadership positions at both organizations. “He will continue to be an asset for all of MEMA, including his expanded role at AASA.”

And in that expanded role, a news release said McCarthy will provide executive and strategic leadership to advance the business interests of the AASA’s members, while continuing to serve in his role as a member of the MEMA’s executive staff.
