Permatex appoints new marketing director

Paco Agrafojo has been named the director of marketing for Permatex, a chemical technology company for auto repair and maintenance.

Agrafojo will be responsible for product innovation, engaging customers and offering solutions to drive category growth for Permatex’s retail partners. The Hartford, Conn.-based company said he will also support efforts of the sales team in business development for retail, traditional and international channels.

“We are very excited to have Paco join our management team,” said Andy Robinson, Permatex’s vice president and general manager. “He comes to us with over 20 years of experience in marketing and sales and has worked extensively in the development of new products and the marketing and analytics of consumer goods. We look forward to the leadership and strategic vision for growth that he will bring to our business.”

Agrafojo previously spent five years with Newell Brands/The Yankee Candle Company as the director of customer marketing and then as the director of category and customer analytics. Before that, he worked as the director of trade marketing for Med Foods, Inc., and as a senior category manager for Heineken USA.
