PartSource, Canadian Tire's dedicated auto parts chain, has signed a multi-year agreement with WHI Solutions to replace its store management system.
WHI Solutions is a provider of on-demand distribution management systems, electronic catalogue and eBusiness solutions.WHI was founded as Wrenchead.com in 1999 to create a B2C ecommerce channel for traditional wholesalers. Today, products are specialized to increase the sales and profitability of parts sellers and service providers.
Starting in 2011, WHI will implement its PartsWatch information and management application that will enable PartSource's 87 stores to provide:
--Faster access to locate the parts customers want to buy;
--National account capabilities so customers are recognized in all stores across the network; and,
--Increased access to information on automotive parts and accessories with improved catalogue functionality.
